In parallel to ICA4, the UFMG Seminar Series Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence will consist of lectures and discussion round tables, with two Nobel Prize laureates and top researchers in neurosciences, computer science, economy, linguistics, philosophy, arts, physics and others. The event will be hybrid and open to the general public. Onsite activities will take place at Center of Didactic Activities 1 auditorium, at Federal University of Minas Gerais Pampulha campus, in Belo Horizonte city, from November 8th to 11th.
The UFMG Seminar Series Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence is organized by the Institutes for Advanced Studies of Paris and of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, sponsored by the international network University based Institutes of Advanced Studies (UBIAS) and recognized as an event of the United Nations year for Basic Sciences and Sustainable Development. The program includes debates that will address the connection between the most recent studies in neurosciences on cognitive processes and artificial intelligence, the effects of artificial intelligence on human societies, and the ethical implications of the use of artificial intelligence in the most diverse areas, such as health, economy, work, among other fields of knowledge.
